Questions
- Is this a subscription?
- No. It is $49 once and it stays yours. There is no renewal and no account to cancel. If the price rises later, what you bought is untouched.
- What happens to the free parts?
- Nothing moves. Everything through Band 4 stays free and open: every word list with audio, the readers, grammar, slang, tone training, the practice games, Review and Progress. Beyond Band 4 you can still read every story in full for free; Pro adds the hearing.
- Do I need an account?
- No. You get a license key right after checkout, and we email a copy to the address you paid with. It unlocks this browser instantly and covers up to 3 devices. Your learning progress stays on your own device either way.
- What is the slang deck on its own?
- Just the 185 slang expressions with their audio as an Anki deck, for $9 once. It is the same deck that is inside Pro. If you later want everything, Pro is a separate purchase.
- Does this also open the iPhone app?
- No. The app for iPhone and iPad is sold on the App Store and carries its own key, so a licence bought here opens this website only, and a purchase in the app opens the app only. Both are a single payment in the same price band, and neither is a subscription. If you learn mostly on an iPhone or an iPad, get the app from the App Store instead.
- What if it is not for me?
- There is a 14 day refund, no questions asked. Write to support@hearmandarin.com with your order id.
- Will the files keep working?
- Yes. They are ordinary files: Anki decks, CSV, JSON, MP3 and PDF. Nothing phones home, nothing expires. This purchase includes the current version plus corrections and format fixes for it.
