我学游泳

今年我开始学游泳。

Jīnnián wǒ kāishǐ xué yóuyǒng.

This year I started learning to swim.

开始的时候，水很冷。

Kāishǐ de shíhou, shuǐ hěn lěng.

At the beginning, the water was cold.

我不想下水。

Wǒ bù xiǎng xià shuǐ.

I did not want to get in the water.

老师说我可以慢慢来。

Lǎoshī shuō wǒ kěyǐ màn màn lái.

The teacher said I could take it slow.

我在水边走了一会儿。

Wǒ zài shuǐ biān zǒu le yíhuìr.

I walked by the water for a while.

第二天，我下水了。

Dì èr tiān, wǒ xià shuǐ le.

The next day, I got in the water.

老师说我做得很好。

Lǎoshī shuō wǒ zuò de hěn hǎo.

The teacher said I did well.

现在我会游泳了。

Xiànzài wǒ huì yóuyǒng le.

Now I can swim.

我每个星期天都去游。

Wǒ měi gè xīngqītiān dōu qù yóu.

I go swimming every Sunday.

游泳是我最喜欢的运动。

Yóuyǒng shì wǒ zuì xǐhuan de yùndòng.

Swimming is my favorite sport.
