昨天是妈妈的生日。

Zuótiān shì māma de shēngrì.

Yesterday was Mom's birthday.

我很忙，忘了。

Wǒ hěn máng, wàng le.

I was busy and forgot.

今天早上我想起来了。

Jīntiān zǎoshang wǒ xiǎng qǐlái le.

This morning I remembered.

我很不好意思。

Wǒ hěn bù hǎoyìsi.

I felt bad about it.

我很早去了商店。

Wǒ hěn zǎo qù le shāngdiàn.

I went to the shop early.

我给妈妈买了红色的花。

Wǒ gěi māma mǎi le hóngsè de huā.

I bought red flowers for Mom.

妈妈看见花，笑了。

Māma kànjiàn huā, xiào le.

Mom saw the flowers and smiled.

她说没关系。

Tā shuō méi guānxi.

She said it was fine.

晚上我们一起吃面条儿。

Wǎnshang wǒmen yìqǐ chī miàntiáor.

In the evening we ate noodles together.

妈妈说她今天很高兴。

Māma shuō tā jīntiān hěn gāoxìng.

Mom said she was very happy today.
